Aaron Donald Set for MNF Debut vs Giants

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald is set to make his 2026 season debut Monday night against the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium after Sean McVay confirmed the plan. Donald told reporters Friday that playing on Monday Night Football was "the plan." McVay followed Saturday with support for that call, saying if Donald said it, he is going, and that whatever Aaron says, he supports.

Donald did not play or travel for Week 1 in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers, a joint decision while he kept ramping through 11-on-11 work. He has been back around the building long enough to say the rust feels thinner every day, even after the long layoff since his prior retirement window. Kickoff is 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC from Inglewood.
