Bijan Robinson Rips Packers in TNF Rout

Bijan Robinson rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns as the Atlanta Falcons capitalized on Michael Penix Jr.'s return and routed the Green Bay Packers 35-14 on Thursday night at Lambeau Field, the Associated Press reported. Atlanta erased an early 7-0 deficit with 27 straight points and outrushed Green Bay 242 yards to 17.

Penix went 18 of 25 for 256 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his first action since tearing the ACL in his left knee against Carolina on Nov. 16. Drake London caught nine passes for a career-high 194 yards. AP noted Robinson and London became the first teammates with at least 190 yards from scrimmage each in a road game since 1976.

Falcons fans finally saw red-zone football after Atlanta failed to run a single play inside an opponent's 20 through the first two weeks. Robinson told reporters the weight was getting the ball down there and punching it in. Soft fantasy note only: treat Robinson as a locked RB1 after this tape, and leave Penix as a streaming dart until the next full slate.

Packers fans watched the first home-opener loss since 2012. Green Bay had won 13 straight home openers from 2013-25. Jordan Love finished 28 of 53 for 312 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while the line started rookies at left guard and right tackle with Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele out.

Green Bay's lack of discipline showed again when Brenton Cox Jr. was called for roughing the passer on an apparent third-and-11 incompletion, and Robinson ripped a 55-yard carry on the next snap to set up his own 3-yard touchdown.
