Breece Hall Cleared Week 1 vs Titans

Breece Hall is off the New York Jets' final injury report for Sunday's season opener at the Tennessee Titans after a groin strain that dated to Aug. 17. He practiced fully Wednesday through Friday and carries no game designation. Kickoff is in Nashville.

That is the stamp fantasy managers needed. Hall called the rehab a "very good two-week vacation" and said he feels "really fresh" after the club kept him out of preseason games to protect Week 1.

Groin, full practices, blank designation

Hall tweaked the groin at an Aug. 17 practice and missed two preseason games. He did not return until this week, then logged full participation every day on the official sheet. Rich Cimini and FantasyPros both framed Friday the same way: Hall and Kenyon Sadiq are good to go with no injury tag. Joseph Ossai (foot) and Tim Patrick (groin) are out. D'Angelo Ponds (calf) and Kene Nwangwu (back) are doubtful.

Offensive coordinator Frank Reich said the plan is to rotate the backfield unless Aaron Glenn or the training staff hand down a rep count. "If he's healthy, he's healthy," Reich said. Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis (knee, also full and undesignated) stay in the mix. Hall said having those backs around takes stress off him while he still expects to do whatever the offense asks.

Titans road opener stakes

Hall rushed for 1,065 yards in 2025, his first 1,000-yard season, plus 350 receiving yards. In four Jets seasons he already owns franchise marks for scrimmage plays of 40, 50, 60, and 70-plus yards. Sunday is the first live test after the cautious groin timeline, with Geno Smith under center and Nashville hosting Week 1.

Jets fans wanted the blank report and got it. Fantasy rooms should treat Hall as a locked RB1 with the usual committee spice from Allen and Davis. If a late inactive surprise hits, Allen is the handcuff. Nothing on Friday's report pointed that way. Hall also said he never worried about missing Week 1 and that running backs know the shelf life is short, so staying effective for as many games as possible is the point.

Week 1 groin stories can linger as questionable tags for days. Hall skipped that chapter. Full practices, no designation, and a fresh quote are the cleanest path into Nashville.

Start him. Trust the vacation he already joked about. Sunday in Tennessee is when the two-week break ends for real.
