CMC Hits 100 Career TDs vs Dolphins

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey scored two 1-yard rushing touchdowns Sunday and reached 100 career touchdowns in his 114th game, helping bury the Miami Dolphins 35-13 at Levi's Stadium. He became the fourth-fastest player in the Super Bowl era to hit 100 TDs, behind only LaDainian Tomlinson, Emmitt Smith, and Shaun Alexander. The day also gave him 50 touchdowns with San Francisco to match his 50 with Carolina.

Brock Purdy went 20 of 22 for 287 yards, two touchdown passes, and a rushing score, completing 18 straight throws at one point. George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk caught the third-quarter scores that broke it open. The 49ers scored touchdowns on their first five drives and opened a season with back-to-back 20-point wins for the first time in franchise history after the Melbourne opener.

Malik Willis finished 14 of 23 for 197 yards for Miami, took four sacks, and did not lead a touchdown drive until a late 77-yard strike to Ryan Miller. Riley Patterson missed a 51-yarder early. The Dolphins settled for field goals in the red zone before that garbage-time score.
