Goedert Knee Questionable vs Titans

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert left Sunday's Week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans with a right knee injury and was listed as questionable to return after a brief stay in the medical tent. Goedert got banged up run blocking early in the second quarter, missed the next drive, and was on the sideline without a helmet as the second half opened. He had one catch for four yards on two targets before exiting.

That is a second skill-side scare on the same Nashville afternoon already flipped by Saquon Barkley's stinger. Goedert's injury history makes every knee stamp louder than a normal bruise. To the naked eye it did not look season-ending, but the club has not cleared him back in. Wait for the next update before you invent a full return.

Mundt is next up

Johnny Mundt becomes the next man up at tight end while Goedert's knee gets checked. Second-round rookie Eli Stowers is already on injured reserve with quad and hamstring issues, so Philadelphia's tight end depth chart is thin if Goedert cannot finish.

Fantasy rooms that locked Goedert as a TE1 already feel the hit. Mundt is a streaming desperation play, not a copy of Goedert's target share. Jalen Hurts still has A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith if the middle of the field thins out. Do not invent a sudden three-tight-end package just because Goedert is in a tent.

Philadelphia opened 1-0 with Hurts throwing three touchdowns against Washington, including two to Goedert. Losing that safety valve on the road is a real script change. Barkley returning helps the run game. Goedert staying out keeps the red-zone menu shorter.

Tight end rooms live and die on availability in September. Goedert already delivered two touchdowns in Week 1. Sitting him with a knee that still needs a green light is the careful call. Mundt can block and catch a checkdown. He will not replace the full Goedert package in one series.
