DJ Moore Questionable for Bills vs Rams on Monday Night

DJ Moore is a true game-time call for the Bills on Monday night. Buffalo listed the wide receiver as questionable with a shoulder injury for its Week 5 trip to the Los Angeles Rams after he was back at practice Saturday in a red non-contact jersey, per BuffaloBills.com. He had missed practice Thursday and Friday.
Coach Joe Brady said Moore will travel, and the team will give him until game time. Brady also made it clear the missed practice days are not the issue. "We have two days. If they're ready to go, I have full confidence in them being able to play," he said.
The Bills receiver room is getting thin
Here is why Moore's status matters so much. Joshua Palmer is already ruled out with a shoulder injury he suffered in Friday's practice, and Brady said the team is still running tests on it. "He got kind of twisted up yesterday in practice, so we're still going through some of the testing," Brady said.
On top of that, Brady said rookie receiver Skyler Bell will be active for the first time in his NFL career because of the injuries at the position. Keon Coleman (ankle) was a full participant all week, so he and Khalil Shakir could be looking at a lot more targets if Moore cannot go.
NBC Sports says Moore aggravated the shoulder in Week 4 and thinks he is on the wrong side of the questionable tag. If you have him in fantasy, line up a backup you can swap in late, because you will not know until right before kickoff.
Ed Oliver out, corners set
The defense takes a hit too. Defensive lineman Ed Oliver (knee) is out after getting banged up in Week 4 against the Patriots and not practicing all week, per BuffaloBills.com. Cornerback Dee Alford (ankle) and defensive lineman Landon Jackson (knee) are questionable along with Moore.
The good news is at corner. Christian Benford, who missed last week with a toe injury, is expected to start. "Good to go," Brady said. Maxwell Hairston will start on the other side.
The Rams get bodies back
Los Angeles is heading the other direction health-wise. Aaron Donald (back), tight end Colby Parkinson (knee/shoulder) and cornerback Jaylen Watson (shoulder) all carry no game status designation, clearing the way for them to play, per TheRams.com. Safety Quentin Lake (hip) is questionable, but Sean McVay said he is "trending in the right direction."
That means a Bills offense that might be missing two receivers runs into a Rams front with Donald back in it. Kickoff is Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium on ESPN and ABC. If Moore is out there, Buffalo has a real shot to steal one in L.A. If he is not, it is on Coleman, Shakir and a rookie to make it happen.
