Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has movement in all extremities after a scary neck injury early against the New York Jets and remained in a New Jersey-area hospital overnight for observation and further testing. Matt LaFleur said after Green Bay's 20-17 overtime win that Reed would not travel home with the team. ESPN's Adam Schefter relayed the club line that Reed has feeling and movement in all extremities.

Reed went down on the opening drive after a swing catch and a heavy hit, then was strapped to a backboard and carted off. The sideline took a knee. Jets players stayed near the cart. Reed later posted that he was doing much better and thanked fans for the prayers. That is the sourced personal note, not a return timetable. The Packers said there would be no further update Sunday night on a return window.

Right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele also exited on the next snap with a knee injury. LaFleur said that one could keep him out a long time. Soft fantasy note only: Reed's board is hospital-first, not Week 3 projection. Wait for the next medical update before locking any snap share.

Green Bay left East Rutherford with an overtime win and an empty seat on the plane. Reed's overnight stay is the Monday headline until the next team bulletin lands.

East Rutherford update

Movement in extremities. Overnight hospital. No return stamp yet.

Scary exit. Better update. Still watching.
