Jordan Love, Packers Host Cowboys on SNF: Cisse Active
By Smacktok
•

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers got help in the secondary before their Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys. Rookie cornerback Brandon Cisse is active after being listed as questionable with a hip injury, and defensive tackle Anthony Campbell is back after missing the last three games with an ankle injury, per Packers.com.
Cowboys at Packers kicked off at 8:20 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field on NBC, with Green Bay at 3-2 and Dallas at 2-3.
Cowboys at Packers Inactives
Green Bay's inactives are cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring) and offensive linemen Jager Burton, Aaron Banks (toe) and Donovan Jennings. That is three linemen in street clothes, so keep an eye on the protection in front of Love.
Dallas is without linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, cornerback Cobie Durant and tackle Drew Shelton, all with hamstring injuries, along with running back Emari Demercado, linebacker James Houston and wide receiver Camden Brown.
Love vs. Prescott, Round Three
This is the third Love vs. Dak Prescott matchup, and the last one was wild: a 40-40 tie on SNF at AT&T Stadium in Week 4 last season. Love threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns, all to Romeo Doubs, and Prescott had 319 passing yards and four total scores.
Both came in slinging it. Through five games Love had 1,408 passing yards, third in the NFL, and Prescott had 1,381, fifth. Love was coming off a 25 of 31, 367-yard, two-touchdown day in a 31-7 rout of the Bears, and per NBC his 124.5 passer rating in SNF games is the best among quarterbacks with at least five appearances in the package since 2006.
The receivers are no joke either. CeeDee Lamb entered the week third in the league with 507 receiving yards. Christian Watson had 474 yards and six touchdowns and Matthew Golden had 397. George Pickens caught nine passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' 24-16 home loss to Tampa Bay last Thursday.
On the ground, Javonte Williams came in with six rushing touchdowns for Dallas, tied for fourth in the NFL.
Why This One Matters
Green Bay leads the all-time series 22-17-1, including playoffs, and is chasing a third straight win. The Packers' defense forced five turnovers against Chicago last week, with Xavier McKinney picking off two passes. Dallas is playing its second straight prime-time game after that Thursday loss and cannot afford to fall to 2-4.
It is a fitting stage for it. The Cowboys (65) and Packers (51) have played the most games in NBC's SNF package since 2006, and this is the 25th SNF game at Lambeau, tying AT&T Stadium and Acrisure Stadium for the most hosted.
The Cowboys need this one a lot more than the Packers do.
