Ka'imi Fairbairn Walk-Off FG Sinks Jaguars in London

Ka'imi Fairbairn got the last word at Wembley. His 49-yard field goal went through as time expired, and the Houston Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-31 in London on Sunday morning, on a slick grass field that made every plant foot an adventure.
That kick capped a wild final two minutes. Travis Hunter had just picked off C.J. Stroud in the end zone, and Cam Little followed with a 60-yard field goal that tied it 31-31 with 1:55 left. Houston got the ball back, got into range, and Fairbairn did the rest.
Why this one matters in the AFC South
The Texans came to London at 1-4. They leave at 2-4 with a second straight win, and they took it from the team at the top of the division. Jacksonville falls to 4-2, still in first place in the AFC South, but its three-game winning streak is over and Houston just took the first of two meetings this season.
It was a division game that felt like a playoff game. Neither team led by more than 10 points all day, and the Jaguars kept answering. They cut a 24-14 deficit to 24-21 in the third, fell behind 31-21, and pulled back within a field goal early in the fourth on Trevor Lawrence's 7-yard touchdown to Hunter.
Stroud and Moreau did the heavy lifting
Stroud finished 24 of 34 for 312 yards with three touchdowns and the one late interception. Two of those scores went to tight end Foster Moreau, a 7-yarder to open the scoring and a 1-yarder with eight seconds left in the first half that sent Houston into the locker room up 17-14. A 42-yard strike to Nico Collins set up that first Moreau touchdown.
Houston opened the second half with an 11-play, 65-yard drive that ended in a 13-yard touchdown pass to Jaylin Noel. Later in the third, running back Jawhar Jordan knifed through the defense for a 25-yard touchdown run that made it 31-21 heading to the fourth.
The Houston defense had its moment too. Cornerback Kamari Lassiter intercepted Lawrence in the end zone in the second quarter, taking points off the board in a game decided by three.
After the game, Stroud talked about bouncing back from that late pick, and the Texans' own postgame video carried his line: "Joy is a choice." Fantasy note: if you streamed Moreau at tight end, two red-zone touchdowns is about as good as it gets from a waiver add.
Lawrence and Hunter made Houston sweat
Jacksonville's passing game was no joke. Lawrence threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns on 24 of 41 passing, with two of the scores going to running back Bhayshul Tuten, one to Hunter and one to rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher, whose one-handed grab in the third was his first career touchdown. Hunter finished with a touchdown catch and the interception, a two-way day that nearly flipped the result.
Lawrence also threw a second-quarter interception, and in a three-point game, that one stings.
Up next, the Texans host the New York Giants next Sunday before their Week 8 bye. The Jaguars head into their bye. Houston fans get a week of replaying that kick before the Giants come to town, and that is a pretty good week.
