Saquon Barkley Set for MRI After Stinger

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is scheduled for an MRI on Monday after suffering a left shoulder stinger in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Tennessee Titans, with Ian Rapoport saying the club is hopeful the injury is only minor. Barkley left on the opening carry, went to the medical tent and locker room, then returned for the start of the third quarter with extra protection around the neck and shoulder.
He finished with four carries for 9 yards and one catch for 11 yards on 12 offensive snaps. Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley carried most of the backfield load while he was out, and Bigsby scored on a 2-yard run. The return itself is encouraging. The MRI is the Monday board that decides how serious the stinger still looks.
Philadelphia sits 2-0 and turns toward Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. Soft fantasy note only: do not invent a practice stamp or a denial of touches from one imaging day. Bank the Rapoport "hopeful minor" line and wait for the first injury report of the week.
This card is the MRI follow, not a replay of the midgame stinger scare. Same play. New Monday test. Eagles fans get a clearer grade once the scan lands.
Week 3 Eagles board
MRI Monday. Hopeful minor. Bears next.
Scan first. Then the practice stamps.
