Nacua a Pregame Decision for Giants MNF

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is a pregame decision for Monday night against the New York Giants, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday, after the star missed Friday and Saturday practice with a hip injury. Nacua remains officially questionable. Head coach Sean McVay has described the issue as groin soreness that showed up after Thursday's practice and said it is separate from the psoas tightness Nacua managed in training camp.

That is the Sunday board update fantasy rooms needed. Saturday's out practice already pointed toward a late call. Schefter's pregame-decision stamp makes Monday's inactive list the only real answer. Do not invent a lock either way before kickoff.

Adams carries if he sits

Nacua led Los Angeles in Week 1 with five catches for 74 yards in the Melbourne loss to San Francisco. If he cannot go, Davante Adams becomes the clear alpha opposite a Giants secondary that just handled Dallas. Jordan Whittington is doubtful with a quadriceps injury, which thins the next layer of depth if Nacua is scratched.

Kyren Williams and Blake Corum would likely see a run-heavier script if the top receiver is out. Terrance Ferguson could pick up a few extra routes. Those are depth-chart reads, not promises. Wait for the walk-through and the inactive sheet before you force a replacement.

Monday Night Football at SoFi is late enough that most lineup rooms get a real look at the warmups. Use that. Schefter already told you it will go down to the wire.

Los Angeles already opened 0-1 without looking like itself on offense in Melbourne, and Myles Garrett's knee surgery has the defensive edge on IR for at least four weeks. Nacua's availability is the skill-side swing for Monday. A pregame decision means warmups matter more than Friday's report. Stamp him questionable, build a replacement plan, and wait for the walk-through before you burn the roster spot either way.

Stafford still needs a clear first read. Adams can be that. Nacua being available would restore the spacing Los Angeles spent all offseason building. Until the inactive list posts, treat Monday as a binary watch, not a gut call from Saturday's report.
